Factor Influencing Students’ Self-Efficacy in Speaking Class at English Tadris Study Program of IAIN Curup

This study aims to determine the factors influencing students' speaking class self-efficacy. This research was conducted at IAIN Curup's English Department. The population of this study were all active students of IAIN Curup's Tadris English study program in the 2024/2025 academic year. The sample of this study was 118 third and fifth-semester students who took speaking courses. The design of this study was quantitative research involving 118 TBI students in IAIN Curup. The data collected were analyzed using quantitative descriptive procedures, and the central tendency was computerized with Microsoft Excel. Furthermore, it was found that the percentage of mastery experience was 25,81% and became the highest factor that influenced students' self-efficacy followed by Physiological and emotional states at 25,36%, and Physiological and emotional states at 23,59% became the lowest factor that influenced students at' self-efficacy. These factors have a high influence on self-efficacy and contribution to building self-efficacy.
